Everyone who knows me well often complains about my obstinacy about achieving what I want. That is maybe the reason why today I am not a Judge as my mother so wished. At the time (1993), my interest in science (particularly Biology) and engineering steered me into another path. As I put at the time “I wish to do something in those fields that has a positive impact in people’s lives”. I am doing just that since 1999 contributing to the consumption of safer food products.
In the 20 years as food product engineer I undertook many challenges and assignments. Since my first professional experience as quality and production manager that I am very familiar working together with other people .
Later in my career I realized the importance of understanding the big picture and continued my education to earn a Master Degree in Business Administration. For the PhD I investigated and developed a new frozen fish glazing solution. The work was based on my belief that the industry should change the current approach to the use of glazing in frozen fish.
Every day I become more passionate about sharing knowledge and developing people. Consequently, in recent years, I have published books, e-books and articles on food safety topics.
