"Designed for users of these standards as well as those who must audit against them, FSSC 22000 V5 and ISO 22000:2018 Blueprint covers the history of the schemes and offers an assessment of the language found in the current versions. The clause-by-clause analysis, from a high-level practitioner in this space with a clear-eyed and experienced view of the food industry, allows the book to well earn its claim as a “blueprint".”

The E-book is very well written and structured in a simplistic manner for people to follow easily. The book starts with a brief history on FSSC 22000 to its current form. The schematic diagrams are very useful and easy to follow for a new comer to this field. The new requirements of FSSC 22000 are very well explained together with the notes. This e- book will assist people in understanding FSSC 22000 Version 5 simplistically.
The e-book presents the main changes and relevant points of the FSSC 22000 in an accessible and easy to understand manner. There are also two Excel sheets with good examples of food defense and food fraud mitigation plans. All of this can certainly help many food safety professionals to implement the scheme.
This book is really nice presenting the standards in a simple and accessible language.
Interview with Cornelie Glerum and Aldin Hilbrands, FSSC 22000 managing director and technical director respectively gave insight on the changes and the reason for the changes in detail which are helpful for better understanding of the scheme. Also, additional knowledge shared in form of excel work sheets on food defense and food fraud mitigation makes implementation and building of mitigation plans of the organizations easy.
"A practical guide to adopt the changes to the amended ISO22000-2018 standards. The e-book offers a helpful gap analysis between old and new standard and simplifies the technical jargons used in the guidelines to make for a user friendly resource of information with use cases for operational environments."
